BUSTED! Harry Reid gets caught trying to steal the pen Obama used to sign inauguration papers.
One of the more hilarious moments from yesterday. Chuck Schumer catches Harry Reid trying to swipe the pen that Obama signed his nomination and tells him to put it down. Luckily for Reid, Obama had an extra pen in his pocket.

What else do you expect from Harry Reid? He steals elections. He steals people’s hard-earned money. Why wouldn’t he steal a pen?
Massacre in Algeria: “We’re only after the Christians”
The news out of Algeria from the Mali hostage crisis gets more and more disturbing as details become clear about what happened. It appears during the siege the Muslim terrorist group intentionally rounded up Christians for execution.

‘The terrorists went to the alarm station, switched off the alarms, and forced the deputy manager to show them where the expats were. They rounded up the expats, making them all wear explosives around their necks while standing in a circle.
‘The attackers were carrying Kalashnikovs and bombs and went throughout the complex, seeking out expats hiding, and forcing them into the circle.’
He said more than 20 British workers – whom the terrorists called ‘kuffar’, meaning non-Muslims – were rounded up.
He added: ‘Us Algerians were rounded up separately and were treated with kindness. We were told that because we were Muslim we would not be killed, and it was only the Christians they were after.
So much for the “religion of peace.” Meanwhile, now that the siege is over and at least 23 hostages (including American citizens) have been murdered, the Obama administration is “seeking a fuller understanding” of what took place.
Kids suspended for using fingers to mimic guns
The PC police are completely out of control. Once again, we have non-substance triumphing over substance. And in the liberal world, this is acceptable. In reality, a child making his fingers like a gun does nothing. It doesn’t hurt anyone, insult them in any way, or threaten. It is quite literally nothing more than a person making an ‘L’ with their fingers. But the American left, which takes pride in looking for ways to be offended, cannot allow this to happen, I assume, because they are irrationally scared of guns. But as tragic as it is, such is the state of our formerly great nation.

Is it child’s play or a serious threat of gun violence? For the second time in less than a month, a Maryland child is kicked out of school for using his finger in the shape of a gun.

No one is debating the importance of keeping children safe. The question being asked is what’s child’s play and what’s not?
There’s controversy at a Talbot County school after two 6-year-old boys were suspended while playing cops and robbers during recess and using their fingers to make an imaginary gun.
“It’s ridiculous,” said parent Julia Merchant.
This is the second time a Maryland child has been suspended for such play. Earlier this month, 6-year-old Rodney Lynch was suspended from his Montgomery County school after pretending to fire an imaginary gun more than once.
Police State: NYPD wants GPS tracking chips on prescription bottles
Earlier this week, we reported that Mayor Michael Bloomberg is aiming to ban hospitals from giving pain killers to patients. Now the NYPD takes things a step even further and has come up with a plan for GPS tracking chips to be embedded in all prescription bottles.

Police pharmacies to hide fake pill bottles fitted with GPS devices amid the legitimate supplies on their shelves.
The New York Police Department believes the so-called “bait bottles” could help investigators track stolen drugs and locate suspects.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly is expected to unveil the plan Tuesday at a La Quinta, Calif., conference on health issues hosted by former President Bill Clinton’s foundation.

Obama violates Federal law by missing budget deadline for the fourth year in a row
The Obama administration is set to once again violate Federal law by missing the deadline to send a budget proposal to Congress.

The White House has informed House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) that it will miss the legal deadline for sending a budget to Congress.
Acting Budget Director Jeff Zients told Ryan (R-Wis.) late Friday that the budget will not be delivered by Feb. 4, as required by law, a House aide said.
“Late Friday evening, Deputy Director Zients confirmed that for the fourth time in five years, the president’s budget will not be submitted in compliance with the law,” the aide said.
Laws like this are meaningless if they can simply be ignored. In accordance with the law, the Obama administration should be prosecuted for these violations and held accountable.

NRA gains 100,000 new paid members…in 18 days
The gun debate, in spite of the media’s best effort, isn’t exactly going the way the left wanted it to. Gun sales are up, statistics all point to the fact (and it is a fact) that strict gun control causes the crime rate to go up, not down, and that annoying little 2nd amendment is still there in black and, well, faded yellow. Public opinion and the constitution itself just isn’t on the side of the liberals no matter what they say. And one needs to look no further than NRA membership for even more evidence that we are winning the debate.

Fox’s ‘The Five’ gives out Gawker founder phone number in response to gun owner list
Recently, the liberal rag, Gawker, decided to publish the names and locations of every registered gun owner in New York (as if they’re criminals). Well, the hosts of “The Five” were having none of it and decided to do a little publishing themselves.

On Tuesday, the website Gawker sparked controversy when it published a 446-page list of all the licensed gun owners in New York City, initially labeling them “a**holes.” And on Wednesday, Fox News’ “The Five” turned the tables and aired the website founder’s phone number and email in retaliation.
…“[Gawker called] people crazy a-holes who own guns legally in New York City. So what we thought we would do is maybe point out who runs Gawker, the founder of Gawker, Nick Denton. Greg, you may know him as well,” co-host Eric Bolling chimed in.
Then Denton’s name, picture, phone number and email address appeared on the screen. “There he is. Nick Denton. Here is is phone number,” Bolling said, advising viewers to email him if “you’re really ticked off.”
Many people have accurately pointed out that this makes non gun owners in the area easy targets for criminals. All the criminals have to do is look at the map and they’re able to avoid the houses where they might be met with force. But what no one has discussed is how terrible it is that the press was able to get this information. Yes, it was obtained legally through the FOIA (of which I am a fan)—that’s not the problem. The problem is the fact that names and addresses of law-abiding citizens have to be on state and federal lists (once again, as if they’re criminals) in the first place. It’s preposterous and unconstitutional. In any case, here’s the clip:
Biden: Obama considering “executive order” to control gun sales
Vice President Joe Biden revealed today that President Obama is considering bypassing the Congress to control gun sales in the US.

“The president is going to act,” said Biden, giving some comments to the press before a meeting with victims of gun violence. “There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken. We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”
Biden said that this is a moral issue and that “it’s critically important that we act.”
Biden talked also about taking responsible action. “As the president said, if you’re actions result in only saving one life, they’re worth taking. But I’m convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of Americans and take thousands of people out of harm’s way if we act responsibly.”
Imagine that: using executive order to directly violate the Constitution. There’s a word for that…and I can’t quite think of it right now…hmmm…

Obama’s Defense Secretary nomination leaves Israel worried and Iran cheering
Make no mistake. The media will say otherwise, but there is no space between Chuck Hagel’s anti-Israel policies and Obama’s own. Israel has every reason to be worried.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry says it is hopeful the appointment of former Nebraska Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel to lead the Pentagon would improve relations between Tehran and the U.S.
Asked about Hagel’s nomination, ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Tuesday that Tehran was hopeful that there would be “practical changes” to U.S. foreign policy, and that nations would change their attitude towards the U.S. if it respected their rights.
Hagel was nominated Monday and faces tough confirmation hearings. Critics have said he is hostile toward Israel and soft on Iran.
Washington and Tehran have no diplomatic relations since 1979 when Iranian militants stormed the U.S embassy and took American diplomats hostages.
Tensions have spiked over America’s belief that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapon, a charge Iran denies.
Hagel’s nomination is causing jitters in Israel, on the other hand, where some view the former Nebraska senator as unsympathetic or even hostile.
Hagel’s positions on Israel’s two most pressing foreign policy issues — Iran’s nuclear program and relations with the Palestinians — appear to be at odds with the Israeli government, and critics here fear the appointment could increase pressure on the Jewish state to make unwanted concessions. The appointment could also signal further strains in what is already a cool relationship between President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is expected to win re-election later this month.
Republicans in the Senate need to grow spines and block this nomination.
2012 was a record year for Planned Parenthood abortions…and taxpayer funding
2012 turned out to be a record year for Planned Parenthood, in both abortion numbers and taxpayer funding.

In its latest annual report for fiscal year 2011 to 2012, Planned Parenthood reveals that it performed 333,964 abortions in 2011 – a record year for the organization.
According to annual reports, the organization performed 332,278 abortions in 2009, 329,445 in 2010, making the total number of abortions in three years to 995,687.
Planned Parenthood reported receiving a record $542 million in taxpayer funding, according to a Susan B. Anthony List analysis of the report, in the form of government grants, contracts, and Medicaid reimbursements. The amount is 45 percent of Planned Parenthood’s annual revenue.
“While government subsidies to Planned Parenthood have reached an all time high, so too has the number of lives ended by this profit-driven abortion business,” SBA List’s President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement. “Destroying nearly one million children in three years is not health care and does not reflect a concern for vulnerable women and girls.”
333,964 innocent lives taken. Planned Parenthood is a tax-funded abortion mill.
Is this really a surprise? One by one, every citizen will be let down by this President’s broken promises at some point. Yet…they continue to drink and serve the Kool-aid.
